Shipping policy
Our shipping carrier is USPS. We ship orders with USPS' First Class Package and Priority Mail services depending on the weight and size of your package. Tracking numbers are provided with every order. Estimated delivery times are as follows:
- Domestic Delivery Times
- Economy: 3-5 business days
- Expedited: 1-3 business days
- International Delivery Times
- Economy International: 11-20 business days
- Expedited International: 6-10 business days
Please note that these are estimated delivery times, not including processing time (1-3 business days). Additional processing time should be anticipated with orders including 'made-to-order' products. USPS may also be experiencing delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Shipping Costs
Domestic
Shipping is a flat rate fee of $6. Domestic orders above $70 will receive free shipping. Shipping insurance is included to insure your package's value in the case that USPS damages or loses your package. If one of these situations occur, please contact us at info@museandminerals.com
International
Shipping flat rate fees depend on your location. All international orders above $150 will receive free shipping. See rates (USD) for your country below (if you do not see your country listed, we do not currently deliver to your location, but we would love to! Send us an email at info@museandminerals.com to request delivery to your country).

Please note that international orders require a minimum order value to purchase and deliver. The minimum order value requirements are as follows:
- Economy International: minimum of $15
- Expedited International: minimum of $40
Shipping insurance is highly recommended to insure your package's value in that case that USPS damages or loses your package. (This is only available through Priority Mail International services as USPS does not provide this through First Class International Package Service.) Shipping Insurance
For domestic orders, shipping insurance is an option available to insure your package with USPS at an additional cost of $0.60 (orders above $50 will receive free shipping and shipping insurance included)
For international orders, shipping insurance is only provided with expedited service at no additional costs. Economy service is ineligible for shipping insurance (according to USPS First Class Package International policies), however, tracking is included for every package.
Please note that if USPS loses or damages your package and package's contents, we are not responsible nor able to help unless shipping insurance is purchased.
Open Boxes
An "Open Box" is an option we provide if you'd like for us to hold on to your items to combine a current purchase with your future purchases. This is a great option to save on shipping costs. To request this option, use the discount code 'OPENBOX' at checkout each time you'd like to keep your box open. We will automatically ship your box if you do not enter the open box discount code on your next purchase. By choosing this option, you agree to the following:
- Allow us to hold your items until you:
- make a purchase without using the open box promo code or
- request to close your box/ship your order(s).
- Actively communicate when you'd like your package to be shipped if you change your mind. Please communicate with us by DM on Instagram at @muse.and.minerals OR email us at info@museandminerals.com.
- Pay the flat rate shipping fee unless your combined orders' value is above $50 (domestic only) or $150 (international).
Reshipment Fees
Please ensure your address is entered 100% correctly. If a package is not deliverable, deemed by USPS due to an address with incorrect information/typos, USPS will potentially return the package to us. In this case, the customer is responsible for reshipment fees.
